Our Values
OUR CORE VALUES
At Mount Zion, our core values form the foundation of our faith and guide our actions as a community of believers. These principles reflect our commitment to serving God and our fellow human beings with purpose, love, and excellence. Rooted in Scripture and shaped by our collective experience, our core values encompass every aspect of our spiritual journey and community life.
LEADERSHIP & STEWARDSHIP
Empowered Leadership
The Leadership at Mount Zion follows a leadership model that is practically and contextually situated. We ensure we are engaged in the community by paying attention to our place and time.
(I Chronicles 12:2)
Financial Stewardship
The members of Mount Zion rely upon the word of God to understand what biblical financial stewardship is and how it applies to our lives.
(Matthew 25:14-15)
MINISTRY & SERVICE
Excellence and Gift-Oriented Ministry for Kingdom Building
Mount Zion promotes Kingdom building by utilizing the various spiritual gifts given to each member of the Church by Christ Himself.
(Ephesians 4:11-13)

Committed to Community
At the Mount, we are committed to the community with Ministries that matter. We are a blessing to be a blessing. "For you were called to be free, brothers, only don't use freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but serve one another through love."
(Galatians 5:13)
WORSHIP AND TEACHING
Worship
At the Mount, we take a holistic approach to our Worship Ministry that touches people from the day they are born to the day they ascend to heaven. We also integrate worship that is relevant and innovative for the youngest believer to the most seasoned saint.
(Psalm 100)
Biblical Teaching
We believe the Bible to be the only true and inspired Word of God. We are committed to leading others in the careful study of God's Word. "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of Truth."
(II Timothy 2:15)
INCLUSIVITY
Being the Welcoming Church
We are a Church that loves God and loves people. We are passionate about seeing people encounter God through worship, and experience the freedom that comes through knowing Jesus. Whoever you are, and wherever you come from, you are welcome. "Let brotherly love continue. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers; for thereby some have entertained angels unaware."
(Hebrews 13:1-2)
These core values guide our mission, shape our community, and inspire us to live out our faith in meaningful and impactful ways.
